Minus-degree corridor

Engineering insights

Ultra-low temperature storage works best when every element of the environment is designed to protect your products.

Our integrated ULT solution includes a purpose-built temperature controlled corridor that enhances temperature stability and increase operational efficiency at every level.

Prevent temperature shock

Door openings create the highest thermal stress in any ULT environment.
A temperature controlled corridor acts as a buffer, minimizing temperature spikes and improving the recovery time.

Reduce frost and humidity intrusion

The corridor maintains consistent conditions by using forced airflow, eliminating the rapid moisture influx seen in HVAC-cooled freezer rooms.

Optimized temperature control

A corridor ensures more  stable air uniformity in the whole storage environment area. This setup does not need to “fight” against abient air in situations with door openings resulting in greater temperature stability.

Protective Corridor

The temperature controlled +10°C  down to –25°C corridor reduces thermal shock and protects product integrity during handling.

Build-in climate corridor

Our large-scale ULT storage solution features a purpose-built internal corridor that surrounds the storage chamber with a stable, conditioned buffer environment.

This corridor ensures that whenever doors are opened, the freezer is exposed only to controlled air and not the fluctuating temperature and humidity of a large HVAC room.
